四川希望汽车职业学院是2013年2月经四川省教育厅批准、国家教育部备案正式成立的，是资阳市第一所具有独立颁发学历文凭、面向全国招生的全日制高等职业院校。
学院位于成渝经济区交汇地资阳市，由四川希望教育产业集团投资兴建，建有教学大楼2栋、学生公寓2栋、图书馆及信息大楼1栋、2000平方米机械加工中心、标准体育运动场、食堂、超市等教学、生活配套设施，已全部竣工投入使用；二期、三期工程正在陆续建设之中。
　　学院设有汽车服务工程系、汽车与机械工程系、管理工程系3个教学系，开设有汽车制造与装配技术、汽车电子技术、汽车检测与维修技术、汽车技术服务与营销、汽车改装技术、数控技术、模具设计与制造技术、公路运输与管理、工程造价、建筑工程管理、工程机械运用与维护、会计电算化、财务管理等13个专业。2014年面向全省共招收普通专科学生1298名，在校学生合计2302人。其中公路运输与管理专业33名，工程机械运用与维护专业26名，建筑工程管理专业59名，工程造价专业56名，数控技术专业87名，模具设计与制造专业70名，汽车制造与装配技术专业298名，汽车检测与维修技术专业851名，汽车电子技术专业199名，汽车改装技术专业65名，汽车技术服务与营销专业451名，财务管理专业36名，会计电算化专业73名。目前，学院招生形势良好，学生思想稳定，学习氛围浓厚。
　　2014年5月8日，学院与清华大学汽车工程系签署联合办学协议，共同培养人才。根据协议，清华大学汽车工程系每年将定期到学院开展学术讲座，并选派专业教师开展支教活动；学院每年将选派骨干教师和优秀学生到清华大学汽车工程系学习、深造。双方将以多种形式开展联合办学，探索人才培养合作模式，成立合作实验班，建立“区域汽车机械实训基地”。学院将依托清华大学汽车工程系雄厚的师资力量、一流的研发优势，广泛开展产学研合作，建立新能源汽车节能减排示范基地，探索一流高校与高职院校合作模式，实现资源共享，优势互补，为“打造西部车城，共建幸福资阳”提供高层次的智力支持和人才保障。
　　学院以培养“社会责任感强、专业竞争力强、人格魅力强”的高层次技能型专业人才为社会己任，以“严谨治学、严格管理、安全第一、质量至上”为办学思路，以培养“懂规矩、要勤奋、有技能、有特长”的人才为办学目标。学院始终坚持立足于培养应用技术人才、生产实用型人才，深化产教融合、校企合作、工学结合，让学生尽早接触生产实际，提高学生的岗位适应能力、社会适应能力、市场适应能力。学院不断深化教学改革。将专业设置、课程教学、生产指导与产业需求对接、与职业标准对接、与生产过程对接，突出实践教学，加强生产实践基地建设，强化实践应用能力的教育训练。学院特别注重培养学生的一专多能。在校期间，除主修一门专业外，还鼓励学生参加多个自己感兴趣、有发展潜力的专业辅修，发展多方面的能力。学院与有关培训机构合作，开展职业资格证书培训，让学生在获得毕业证书的同时，拥有多项职业资格证书，更好地适应社会发展变化。

　　Sichuan Hope automotive Vocational College is formally established and approved by the Sichuan Provincial Department of education, kept on record by the Ministry of Education in February, 2013. Sichuan Hope automotive Vocational College is the first Full-time higher occupation college in Ziyang which can award diploma and enroll facing the whole nation.
　　Sichuan Hope automotive Vocational College is located in the intersection of Chengdu Chongqing Economic zone--Ziyang. It is invested by the Sichuan hope education industry group which plans a total investment of 830000000 yuan, the total construction area of 297000 square meters. The first phase of the project has invested 280 million yuan, including 2 academic buildings, 2 student apartments, library and a Information Building.
　　of machining center, the standard sports field, canteens, supermarkets and other teaching and living facilities. Construction area is about 124000 square meters,which has been fully completed and put into use; the second and the third phase of the project are under construction.
　　College has offered 6 special majors, including automobile manufacture and assembly technology, automotive electronics, vehicle inspection and repair technology, automotive technology service and marketing, numerical control technology, mold design and manufacturing technology. In 2014, there are 7 new majors, including automotive technology, highway transportation and management, engineering cost, construction management, engineering machinery application and maintenance, computerized accounting, financial management. At present, there are three departments. They are automotive service engineering department, automotive and mechanical engineering department, and management engineering department.
　　The collegel has more than 30 first-class training rooms of whole vehicle, detection of vehicle, repair of vehicle, machinery processing, electrical and electronic in the southwest. The college has signed a cooperation agreement with more than 100 companies such as Nanjun group, Sichuan modern, CSR Yuchai, which laid the foundation for the students’ practice and employment.
　　In May 8, 2014, the college signed cooperative agreement with the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, Jointly developing talent. According to the agreement, the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University will regularly hold the college academic lectures, and **** the professional teachers to carry out teaching activities; college will **** the core teachers and students to study at the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University each year. The two sides will carry out education jointly in various forms, explore the talent training cooperation mode, establish cooperative experimental class, and establish “regional auto- mechanics training ****”. The college will rely on the strong teacher power, first-class researches and development advantages of the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University to carry out extensive cooperation and establish the new energy automotive energy-saving emission reduction demonstration ****, and explore the first-class universities cooperation with　colleges, realizing the sharing of resources and complementary advantages, to provide high level intellectual support and talent guarantee for "create the western car city, build happy Ziyang "
　　The social responsibility of college is to develop high-level skilled professionals with "a strong sense of social　responsibility, professional and competitive and charisma".
